ZIMBABWE FLAG The Zimbabwe Flag is made up of seven stripes, a triangular section containing a star and a stylized bird. The ‘Zimbabwe Bird’ is the national symbol of Zimbabwe. The original birds were found as stone carvings in the ancient ruins of Great Zimbabwe. The star stands for the political hopes of the country and the white triangle for post-independence peace. The green stripes represent the land and natural resources, yellow the mineral wealth, red the blood sacrificed during the struggle for independence, and the black in the centre, the people. |

Zimbabwe is governed by the Executive President, deputized by two Vice Presidents. Below them is a Cabinet of Honourable Ministers.
The Republic of Zimbabwe, through its Vision 2030, launched on the advent of the Second Republic in 2017 aspires for Zimbabwe to achieve an Empowered and Prosperous Upper Middle-Income Society by 2030. In pursuit of this vision, Government developed the Transitional Stabilisation Programme (TSP) to guide the reform process during the period 2018 to 2020. Pursuant to this, the Government launched a Five- Year Medium Term Plan, the National Development Strategy 1: 2021-2025 (NDS1), which will be followed by an NDS 2 from 2026-2030. The idea of these economic plans is to deliver broad based transformation, create new wealth and expand horizons of economic opportunities for all Zimbabweans, with no one left behind, as the country marches towards Vision 2030, while simultaneously addressing the global aspirations of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Africa Agenda 2063.
